In the Bible, children are consistently valued as blessings from God. They represent both a reward and a heritage. They are precious, innocent, and worthy of love and care. Life Application Bible commentary states that it was customary for people to bring their children to a rabbi for a blessing. The people were bringing children to Jesus so that he could place His hands on them and pray for them. The disciples, however, thought the children were unworthy of the Master’s time. They thought the Master had more important things to do.

July 2025 – Prayer Partner Devotional

As prayer partners, you play a very important role in the partnership between your mentor, mentee, and yourself. Hebrews 10 tells us to remain focused, faithful, and to encourage each other regularly. We are to encourage one another in all things, not just the hard stuff.

The mentor you pray for can often feel defeated during a mentoring session. This was my first year as a Director and Mentor, and I was so excited to begin this program, but to be honest, it was not at all what I expected.
